Bye Bye Bloglines
Last week I had a look at the Bloglines beta interface. It’s OK, and I’m sure it’ll improve before launch, but some obvious must-have features were missing (seemingly no button for reading all new items?!) and it’s a bit too little much too late. For comparison I had another look at Google Reader; there are still minor glitches in Safari, but it just seems like a more refined version of what Bloglines is aiming for.
So after years of reading feeds via Bloglines, the Google juggernaut has finally lured me away and gets a bit more of my personal data. I’m sure this cheap and dirty feeling will fade…
