Spam By Name…

My first reaction on seeing the official UK site for SPAM was that it must be a bit of a challenge getting their newsletter (scroll down for the sign-up form) through email filters and off blacklists (imagine the hilarious conversations: “Yes, we’re a SPAM site”, “But we don’t spam people, we only sell SPAM”, etc.).

Then I went to have a look at its privacy policy and, well, they’ve taken a somewhat minimalist approach:

Yes, the SPAM site has a blank privacy page. I love the smell of irony in the morning…
