Pre-activated Flash
I finally got round to modifying all my pages featuring Flash content to avoid IE’s patent-related changes.
SWFObject (the new name for FlashObject, thanks to Adobe’s legal team) works fine, and the included getQueryParamValue function proved handy for quoteplay.
If you’ve got pages that still need updating then give it a go, it’s not as awkward or time-consuming as you might think, although there are slightly more entertaining ways to spend a Sunday afternoon.
