Processor Cycles
You can get bikes for playing video games, and exercise bikes integrated into desks, but instead how about hooking the hardware up the PC and using software to control its (apparent) processor speed (and net connection, I suppose)? So if you’re feeling tired/lazy and do nothing you have to cope with sluggish responses, but pedal away and you can use a graphics package or compile some code using the full speed of the computer.
For now I suppose we’ll have to settle for an occasional go at Daley Thompson’s Decathlon (or other button-masher of your choice) to get a little blood sloshing around without leaving the computer.
